Well, I’m sitting at the Vegas airport with internet access and an hour to kill. Might as well blog about it. Vegas is one of my favorite airports to people watch at because there is such a diverse mix of people. You can tell who had a good trip and who had a bad trip. There are definitely people who are leaving here that I assume hope whatever happened in Vegas really does stay there. This is where open micer comics can insert your own joke about the STD not staying in Vegas. Wow, how original! I also like the Vegas airport because it’s one of the best airports besides LAX to see a celebrity. The best part is you often run into B-list celebrities at the Vegas airport who can’t afford private planes. Last time I was here I ran into DJ Jazzy Jeff. Small world.
So far the highlight of the layover has been listening to the couple across the aisle from me complain about the muffin they got from Starbucks. No celeb sightings just yet. I’m off to Texas for Christmas and should have a good time. Those of you in the area be sure to come to my special show at the Hutto Performing Arts Center. Sounds nice, but it’s really a highschool auditorium. It should be a fun show, if people come.

Spencer, enjoyed your show at Hutto PAC! I know it was difficult doing a comedy show with high school age kids in the audience and with no alcohol being served to get the audience in the mood but you did a great job! I am Melissa Mora’s father-in-law and I know she appreciates you taking the time to help out her theater arts program. Best of luck in 2009 and hope you get a chance to do a show in Austin soon so we can enjoy you again.
