Moore Hype than Anything Else
Well, Michael Moore has come through Utah Valley and everything is still as it should be. In a way I feel like there was so much hype about this event that it would never have lived up to anyone's expectations. People who opposed Moore were few and far between. Their boos could be heard occasionally but they weren't noted too much.
I for one am disappointed with the fact that Moore didn't use too many facts to support his views. Between all the 'ums' and Republican bashing he didn't seem to get too many facts through. He did make it clear how he felt about Bush though. He even went so far as to show some anti-Bush 'Vote for Bush' commercial spots(if that makes sense). I actually thought that those were pretty funny.
Even Roseanne made an appearance. Yes, Roseanne from the TV show. She cracked a few jokes but really didn't have anything too important to say.
I think that all in all people have been making a big deal out of nothing. If anything it inspired more people to vote which is a very good thing. A few people were even using the event to make some money as anti-Bush and anti-Moore shirts were being sold outside of the venue.
Now I guess that UVSC will go back to the way it was before this whole thing started. If Kay "Adolf" Anderson is still going to sue the school he's an idiot. It's over now dude. Just drop it. We don't need you and your fascist ways.
