Michael Moore On Jay Leno

My wife and I have a little tradition on Monday nights to sit down and watch the headlines on the Tonight Show before we go to bed. It was interesting because the first guest was going to be Michael Moore. I decided to stay up and watch a little bit. After Michael Moore's visit here to Utah, I've been a little more interested in the way Moore presents his arguments.

What I saw was interesting, shocking, and funny. Michael Moore came on the show, not in his usual hat and jacket with his face all scruffy. He was clean shaven, and wearing a suit! Michael Moore in a suit? Now something has got to be up with that.

I didn't see all of the interview but in the part I saw, Moore's explanation of the suit was simple, "If you can't beat 'em, ya might as well look like 'em." When asked why Bush won the election I was ready for him to go into a conspiracy theory about how it was stolen. Instead he said that Bush had the better story.

Is this a new Michael Moore? I doubt it. I think he's just doing it to try to look good to the Academy in hopes of winning an Oscar. He'll probably try to come of as a decent person during the next few months in order to convince people that he is a reasonable man. I hope he doesn't even get nominated. That would be hilarious.
