Online Video Rentals

Well, I've finally succumbed to the temptation of getting DVD's in the mail. There are really only two big options when it comes to this: Blockbuster and Netflix. After some consideration I decided to go with Blockbuster and here's why:

1. Price: Netflix is $17.99/month, Blockbuster $14.99/month
2. Name: I think Blockbuster will be around a little longer than Netflix will.
3. Coupons: Blockbuster includes two coupons for free in-store movie or game rentals each month. Since Netflix doesn't have regular stores, they can't offer that.

Those reasons were enough to make me choose Blockbuster. Supposedly, Netflix has more titles, but when you get up into the realm of tens of thousands I don't think it really matters that much.

So we'll see how it goes. I get my first three DVDs on Saturday.
