Fall Semester 2005
The first few days of the semester are generally full of surprises. This semester was no exception. I finally was granted Utah state residency which means my tuition went from around $4700 to $1400. The bad part is that I am now an official Utah resident. (shudder)
Theatre auditions were yesterday and I decided at the last minute that I was going to do them. I didn't have much time to put a monologue together and when it was my turn to audition, I wasn't ready. My audition suuuuuuuuuucked. It was freakin horrible. I've never had a worse audition, which is why I was surprised when I got a callback for the lead role.
I'll be missing two weeks of school to film a movie in St. George, starting after Labor Day. It's gonna be fun and luckily most of my teachers are okay with it. I am lucky that I don't have certain teachers who would get mad that I'm missing so much school. I figure that if I'm out doing the real thing it is probably more of an educational experience than sitting in a classroom.
