Mac or Pc? That is the question.

VS.

Okay, now the debate has been raging for as long as I can remember. Now I have been forced to analyze the debate myself. I am in the market for a new laptop and I'm really having trouble deciding whether I choose a Mac or PC. Now I know that this debate has ruined many a relationship. Divorce, disownment, and shunning have been the results of whatever preference someone has for a computer.

Right now the Multimedia Dept. at UVSC is trying to start a laptop initiative, the idea being that every student has their own laptop. I'm going into the film and television track and so I'm leaning towards a Mac. However, I'm still not sure.

I need your help. Which should I choose, Mac or PC? Please leave me a comment telling me why you like the one you do. Points for whoever comes up with the most creative reason.

God's Favorite at UVSC

Be sure to come check me out in this show. I've worked really hard for this, and the experience has been very "unique". Opening on the 24th and going through the 1st of Feb.

God's Favorite, written by Neil Simon, is the story of Joe Benjamin (me), a wealthy business man who lives on long island. His life is about to be thrown upside down as he becomes the subject of a bet between God and the Devil.

Joe struggles through his pain and the temptation to renounce God.

Oddly enough, this is a comedy.

Why you should always keep your toe nails clipped

THIS IS KINDA GROSS!!

You have been warned. So, let me just get right to it. Yesterday I ripped the toe nail of my right big toe. I don't know exactly what happened, but I was changing clothes after church and I was bare foot. I put my foot down and on the way my toe nail got snagged on one of my shoes. It hurt, but not as much as it should have.

At first, I just thought that I bent the nail or something, but when I looked down at my foot, the nail was flipped up like the lid of a flip-top box. My first thought was, "Wow, this should really be hurting more."

So I then proceeded to remove the toenail which came off in one solid piece. Weird.

So I have it all wrapped and everything, but it's very very tender. I couldn't even put on a shoe yesterday. Today has been better, but it still hurts a lot.

Vince Young Spanks USC

TEXAS - 41
USC - 38

Reggie who? Reggie Bush? Oh yeah, what happened to Reggie? Oh, he only rushed for 89 yards? I thought he was the Heisman Trophy winner. I guess he decided to take a break. LenDale White outplayed Bush. That guy was just walking all over the Texas defense until the 4th and 2 that got stuffed.

It was Vince Young's night. He dominated on the ground and through the air. The thing with Vince, is that he makes it look so easy. He doesn't look stressed at all.

Congratulations to the Longhorns! I love you guys.

Dick's Last Stand

Now I spent most of my New Year's Eve entertaining people at Wiseguys Comedy Cafe. I had no intention of watching ABC or Dick Clark's "triumphant" return to New Year's. However, as part of the festivities at the comedy club, we decided to tune into the countdown in New York. I just about freaked.

Now as most of you probably already know in late 2004 Dick Clark suffered a stroke. For the first time in, like, 30 years he wasn't in Times Square for New Year's Eve. He has been slowly recovering since then and this year he decided to go ahead and do the show. Like I said earlier, I freaked.

When Dick Clark came on the television I was shocked to see that he actually had aged. Not only that, his voice sounded eerily old. I know he had to learn to talk again after his stroke, but this was almost depressing. I guess he really doesn't look too bad, but the voice really freaked me out.

I really hope he makes a full recover and comes back next year resembling his old self again. Maybe he won't and the era will be gone forever.
